TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 9th Meeting of the Investment Advisory Council for Turkey held under the auspices of the Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım at the Dolmabahçe Prime Ministry Office in İstanbul.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım stated that annual growth under 3% would not provide additional employment or significant development in the economy; stressing the fact that the medium term plans for the coming years are built around a 5% growth estimate while retaining financial discipline.
In addition to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, present at the meeting were Prime Minister Deputies Nurettin Canikli and Mehmet Şimşek, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Bakanı Berat Albayrak, Minister of the Treasury Naci Ağbal and Minister for Development Lütfi Elvan as well as, DEİK Chair Ömer Cihad Vardan, TÜSİAD Chair Cansen Başaran-Symes, TİM Chair Mehmet Büyükekşi, MÜSİAD Chair Nail Olpak, YASED Chair Ahmet Erdem.
